about

Through a variety of moods and styles, and working sporadically and quickly to capture something over a period, I then whittled it all down, pulling it into shape. I like to work at night, hence the title. But this collection is also a reflection of living... from the sudden world of wakening to the hush of a river in the small hours. – DB, July 2023

Midnight Dispatches is the third instrumental album by David Ballantine, following Solaris: A Sonic Encounter and Dreams and other Certainties. His songs album Paint is available online.
